Hiking in southern South KoreaMudeungsan National Park. Located in Gwangju City in Jeollanamdo. From Seoul accessible by bus. Came to hike a mountain I have not been to in Korea and ended up here. I entered through a less popular entrance. The paths I took there were not a lot of people. Reminds me of hiking in the US. There are stone columns to see at the top of one of the mountains. This is one of the main attractions. I easily spent about 4 hours here. I did not make it to the stone columns. When I descended down I ended up at a different exit. There were a lot of coffee shops and hiking stores. To go to Wuyi Mountain, you must climb to the top of the mountain, or you can't see the beautiful scenery at all. There is no difference between the mountain and the general mountain. You can refer to my travel notes for specific reference. There should be few people climbing to the top of the mountain, but it is really good!
