Didn't plan to visit but came because there was extra time and it was free. There was a lot to see and it was really worth it, good luck! The bad part is that many people don't respect the gallery, talking loudly, affecting taste. The exhibition hall is big and it takes a long time to see it. There are few chairs to rest inside, it is not recommended to see all at once. There are interactive settings in the exhibition hall. I prefer art exhibitions. There are also designer works in the interior, including various fashions and fashions in recent times.

I went to the Terracotta Warriors exhibition at the National Gallery on Friday night. I would recommend this evening. The other gallery offers alcoholic drinks and band shows (though the queues are long), and I recommend visitors not only to the Victoria National Gallery but also to locals. The cloakroom at the front of the gallery is also convenient.
This is a great place! You can see many interesting pictures and there are lots of stories; Interested place to visit.
such a nice place in a middle of Melbourne to visit and join exibitions. went there twice and it was such a cool experience.
The NGV is a must see on your trip to Melbourne! They always have world class art exhibitions and it has a great gift shop with a huge collection of art books and artist merchandise. Annual memberships offer great discounts to your purchases. The coffee shop has great coffee and food, but its a bit expensive for the mediocre atmosphere in the cafe. Tge gallery is walking distance to Flinders Street Station and South Bank restaurants and riverfront walks.
Always inspiring exgibitions that are well hung.
such a beautiful place to spend the day. Great free exhibitions and amazing things happening all the time.
