When at NUS, there may not be that many choices of dining to choose from as you need to travel out from the campus. However, there is a food court at university town where you can choose from a variety of cuisines, like Japanese, Indian and so on. Great that it is all in one place and very accessible so that you can settle all your meals for the whole day. 📝 Singapore Travelogue Part 25: National University of Singapore Museum 📝 🖼️🖼️🖼️🖼️ The National University of Singapore's own museum, showcasing a variety of paintings, sculptures, porcelain, and other artworks. Surprisingly, I saw Changsha kiln and Zhangzhou kiln porcelains, Ming dynasty paintings, as well as various contemporary paintings and sculptures. 🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻🚶🏻 There were hardly any tourists, and it was free to roam around. Once again, I marveled at the strength of a good university's hardware and software facilities. Visited on January 23, 2016

The large lawn in Utown is quite a luxury in land-scarce Singapore, and the food court in Utown has a lot of delicious food for you to try. Nus museum: There are many exhibits from China, and both Xu Beihong and Qi Baishi have exhibited here. The museum offers free admission. Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum: This is Singapore's first natural history museum, with a collection of 566,500 items, and 2,000 animal and plant specimens are on regular display. The Liang Long fossil is the treasure of the museum. Entrance fee: Adults: 21 SGD; Children, students, seniors, and persons with disabilities: 13 SGD (tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket counter in the museum) Yale-NUS: This is the library of the college jointly operated with Yale, with a strong American vibe. Every table has a warm-toned lampshade, creating a great atmosphere. Faculty of Engineering: This is the only place in the entire campus where you can take pictures of the West Coast and the port. The view is especially breathtaking at sunset. To reach this spot, you need to go around to the front to take the elevator, as there is no elevator at the back, or you can directly climb the stairs, which is just 7 floors in total.

Price per Person - $10-20/pax Rating - This hidden Mala hotpot is nestled inside a coffee shop style eatery within the National Technology University at Western tip of Singapore. It's open up to public and students alike. When we visited on a weekday 12noon can see the place still bustling with both students and families that probably come all the way in just to savour the infamous mala hotpot dish. Wide selection of individual ingredients can be chosen eg: Potato(it'll be fixed like potato chips), egg(done to be flowY scrambled), luncheon meat, beef, chīx,pork slices, fish slices, vegs, mushrooms and so much more spoilt for choices. Either can choose to be stirred fried in mala sauce or in broth base like tomato, pickled veg, mala etc. Pricepoint is typical mala in Sg but not too expensive and taste nt bad. Recommended to go try if in the western part of Sg.
