A sunny, Friday afternoon and an empty beach! Although, it's shingle (and not that friendly for wheelchair and pushchair users), once on the beach there is just a vast expanse of open sky. There's a narrow track at the back (if you don't want to walk on the shingle) but, as the road where you park is below the level of the beach, the only way, unfortunately, to reach the beach is by means of steep, concrete steps.

This is a beach in Hastings, England, the beach is a pebble beach, similar to Brighton beach, but there are many fewer tourists than there. This beach is blue, there are many seagulls, everywhere is very clean, sitting on the beach in a quiet daze is a pleasure.
