Place de la Republique

The Republic Square is located in the center of Arles, the seat of the current Arles municipal government. There is an obelisk in the center of the Republic Square, which is slightly smaller than the ordinary Egyptian obelisk. It was built by Constantine II in the third century AD and the monument is 20 meters high. The base has a stone carving head with water sprayed on all sides. The west side of the Republic Square is the seat of the Arles City Hall, built in 1667, visitors can freely shuttle from the City Hall Hall, and on the east side of the Republic Square is the famous Church of Sant'Tofim, which was moved to Arles in the 5th century AD, the Church of Sant'Tofim in the Acropolis. The churches were rebuilt many times after the local reconstruction of the present day, which was left over from the 12th century reconstruction.

Ale Republican Square is the central square of the Old City of Ale. Although its area is not large, it is full of a sense of history.
