Port Louis

Port Louis, Mauritius, is the largest port in the region. Mauritius's handicraft is quite good, especially the wooden sailing boat, with fine handicraft. It's the best home furnishing. In addition, local leather products such as leather bags, shoes and belts have African characteristics. Interested tourists may choose to buy local Bozi Chess, which is very cheap. You can continue to walk to the nearby Chinatown. As early as the 1960s, Chinese migrated to Mauritius. Most of them came from the southern part of China, mostly Hakkas. Most of them were engaged in trade and business transactions, and some of them were the bosses of large local groups. Mauritius has been ruled by the French for a long time. The signs, signs and names of the streets in Mauritius are all in French, and most of the residents can speak French, which makes people feel like they are in France. And this multi-ethnic island, inhabited by Indians, Pakistanis, French, Chinese and Africans, and so on, they get along well with each other, which is also a unique feature of Mauritius.

Port Luis is named after the King of France. Different cultures blend here, making the city full of European flavor. Umbrella Street in Kodan Square is a beautiful scenery of Port Louis. It's suitable for taking photos and having a cup of ice cream. It's so beautiful.

Passing through Mauritius from Africa to Singapore, without any knowledge of the country, I got off the plane in a foolish way and found a Chinese hotel in a foolish way, which I can't recall now. The hotel we stayed in was run by a Chinese with the surname Wen. Although it was not very big, it was already very good in 1989, and the equipment was quite satisfactory. Besides, after all, it was a Chinese shop, and the owner was quite enthusiastic. My companion just sleeps in the room and I have to walk alone. Some donkey friends may be very strange, since to the so-called paradise on earth Mauritius, why not go to the seaside to visit and enjoy it? There was no such consciousness in those days. The seashore, surfing and yacht were just fantastic. The innkeeper watched me go out alone and took the initiative to walk with me towards the sea.
