The closed picnic area of the country park is the venue for wedding receptions, opposite the deaf school of Mary Hale School. Some seats are on the edge, but this is usually snapped up quickly, so either arrive early or bring a picnic blanket. There are also large tree swings with lots of Mustangs.

The closed picnic area of the country park is the venue for wedding receptions, opposite the deaf school of Mary Hale School. Some seats are on the edge, but this is usually snapped up quickly, so either arrive early or bring a picnic blanket. There are also large tree swings with lots of Mustangs.
Visited on Sat 6 Jun 20 during lockdown.. Very busy despite a chilly day. Car park was full ,people parking on road. Toilets shut.
The environment is very clean, the air here is very fresh
