Beautiful temple, central location. Many people enter and exit the temple every day. Very crowded all the time. If you want to offer flowers, there are many flower vendors outside. The nearby Baishafu Square and Fuluo Complex are very quiet. The famous OG shopping area is nearby. This Hindu temple is very large and only a small part of the temple is open to non-members. It is not as interesting as other temples, the outside is more interesting than the inside. Hope this comment will be helpful.
It is one of the oldest temples in Singapore. It was built by new workers from early India. It is a typical Hindu temple. The image of the main god, Kari, is enshrined here. Goddess Kari is the evil god of killing and destruction, but in the hearts of early Indian immigrants, she brought a sense of security in a foreign land. It is currently an important stop for Singapore tourism.
