Sulamani Guphaya Temple

This is a temple with a red exterior wall. The most special thing is the murals in the temple. It can be photographed. It is a temple that is well preserved in Bagan. Every temple in Bagan is definitely unexpected.

Suramani was the last big boulder I went to Bagan. Unfortunately it lost its spire in the big earthquake of August 2016. From a distance, the top was constantly being repaired. Very beautiful!

Suramaani's spire was also destroyed in the earthquake and is still under construction. There are five doors, the largest east-facing porch, and the breeze is cool. What's more exciting is that the murals are currently allowed to touch and shoot freely.

Before planning to go to Pugan, I read a lot of strategies and introductions. The most mentioned are Shwesandaw, Ananda and Shwezigon. Ctrip is ranked in the top three scenic spots. After going to Pugan, we found that Sulamani, Dhammayazika and Bulethi were the most time-consuming and personal preferences. Sulamani was built in 183. There are many murals of Gongbang Dynasty in the passageway of the temple. It tells about the origin of Buddhism and the process of its introduction into Myanmar. There are also many pictures depicting the sacrificial scenes. The murals are huge, colorful and vivid, and they are amazing.

The gate of the Sulamani Buddha Tower is connected to the main temple by a strange and extremely long passage. This passage, which is also extremely hot in the afternoon of the rainy season, invisibly deepens the tall and majestic image of the whole pagoda, presumably playing a sacred role to the visitors who come in to admire it. Very beautiful and spectacular!

The Sulamani Buddha Pagoda is known as the "treasure in the crown" and is a mural art tower, complete with murals in the temple, with sitting Buddha and sleeping Buddha and Bagan's rare walking Buddha.
