As the name describes, it is a fortress which was constructed in the past purely for defence purposes. However, presently this has been converter into a tourist attravction by the city administration.People visit and climb upto the fortress as it located on a hill top. At night especially, it looks all the more beautifup because of colourful lights which decorates it. There were alot of visitors who came to see with friends and families. Suwon Fortress + Villages#koreatrip was super fun when you discover historical places. Suwon has a palace and fortress, with unique traditional villages. To get here, you must go by train towards Suwon and take bus or walk. It's walking distance from the station, however due to the cold, I took bus and follow google instead. The fortress is not that huge, you can just walk around it. It's basically just a defense high wall. Modern ft Ancient - Suwon city ❤️My new favourite place in Korea - Suwon city. It is a combination of modern and ancient city. There are so many pretty cafes located around the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress which make it so special attractive. Many famous K-dramas were filmed here such as Our belevod Summer, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, My Lovely Liar, Twenty-five Twenty-One, Dae Jang Geum etc. If I have a chance to be here again, I will come at night. #winhkflight #suwon #yolo I will take a hike to Tai Long Wan if I visit HK the next time.
