TEDA Aircraft Theme Park

The focus of this park is the Kiev, a legendary 1970s Soviet aircraft carrier. It was once the pride of the Soviet fleet, but was sold off in 1996. It's about 45,000 tons and 273m long, with a giant flight deck and lots, lots, lots of interior space. Part of the interior has been remodeled to make room for a hotel and exhibition spaces, but you can still get a good sense of how it used to be.

The whole park is very large. Every place is far away. It takes about three kilometers from the main ship to the submarine and destroyer. Friends with plenty of time can go over and see. Children may need to take the small train in the park, 50 per person.
