Waimangu Volcanic Valley

In the pure ecological park, there is steam coming out of the underground everywhere, and there is a lake that is especially pure as a mirror. You can also take a boat trip to the lake. Unfortunately, we did not take it in time. This park is privately contracted, so tickets are collected. There is a bus shuttle that can take you back to the exit, otherwise it will take a long time. Highly recommended, the most convenient self-driving, you can play for a while. There are very few people in the park, so you can take pictures at will.

The scenery here is really beautiful. The area of this national park is really big. If you just want to look at the core, it has a main road, which takes about two hours. You can hike up and down here. You can see many magical steaming fountains. Can see a lot of fog on the lake. There is a strong smell of sulfur throughout the park. This is a crater.

The geothermal resources here are very rich. It used to be an active volcano. Now the volcano has calmed down, but the geothermal below is still very active. Here you can see the steaming water. I smelled a strong scent of sulfur in the whole valley. Traveling here is very similar to Yellowstone Park in the United States, very close.

This place is really beautiful. There are not many tourists who come here for the absolute original ecology. If you can go there slowly and take a walk around the normal hiking route, you can walk around in two hours, but if you want to see more It takes longer to go there to play. The geothermal here is really amazing. A lot of pools, steaming above, really make me feel very similar to Yellowstone Park in the United States.
