Minghe Ancient Town is located in the southeast of Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It was built during the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,200 years. It is one of the ancient market towns in the Sanbei area. It is also one of a few remaining ancient towns in Cixi representative of typical Jiangnan ancient towns. It was built on Baiyang Lake and is a true ancient town of mountains and rivers. The rivers in the ancient town flow from the west to the east through the town. The river straddles the seven ancient bridges of the Ming Dynasty. Built along the rivers are residences with Jiangnan riverfront home characteristics from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. These residences are primarily luxury houses. In the ancient town, there are also the ancient Wulei Temple with over 1,700 years of history and Jinshan Temple, which was founded in Liang Datong. Both of which add an extraordinary mystery.
