The kids loved it here. My daughter is a little apprehensive of birds but she enjoyed it too. The birds were beautiful and the whole site was lovely. The man in the bird tower was very knowledgeable.
This place has been closed for months, a d will be until well into November. Their website fails to say why, but the locals were told its for maintenance. Locals gave invited Cape Nature to attend tou...
Unfortunately Bird Island is CLOSED. They locked the gates due apparent construction works. We could however not see any works going on. We had to look at the birds from afar.
Wait with a meal until you finished your tour to the island the smell is very potent and ripe. Put some Vicks or perfume under your nose to help you cope with the smell.

A fascinating place
