Worth the trip
We came on a day that it was just us. There wasn’t a festival so no one out in the museum. It also started to rain lol, we enjoyed what we saw nonetheless. Look forward to another visit

Very well put-together outdoor museum with 100+ cabins. Each has a display from some aspect of life 1840-1950ish, with good interpretive guides. Be prepared to walk outdoors (heat, etc.) and take ...
There was so much history and so many exhibits. The walk was really nice along the lake. There obviously a lot of time and energy and love has gone into preserving these buildings and collections.
