Located in the historic UNESCO Heritage area of Colonia, this church is simple in structure. The door to the church is left open without an attendant. Admission free. Another name for the church is I...
With a history dating back to 1680, it is one of the oldest church in Uruguay and an obvious icon of Colonia. The church was open the day we were there and worthy of a short visit.
The guide explained well about the history of the church, and there are some interesting pictures, but nothing special
Worth going with a tour guide to get all the important information then go back and enjoy its peace on your own
The church is a very nice stop when the heat is too much for you. This is a simple church, very beaitiful.
