Small but very special
We paid the equivalent of a quarter US and spent about an hour and a half enjoying the art here. Very intriguing works that put a modern edge on traditional images and scenes.
gem in the rough
This is a most remote part of Mexico in the impoverished state of Chiapas and yet there is an art museum that is stupendous. Enjoyed the work more than the Tamayo Art Museum in DF.
Good selection of modern art!
Although they didn't have power when we visited, the natural lighting allowed us to enjoy about 80% of the art in this two story museum. It is all modern art, a mix of mediums. We toured it in about...

This is a place for people who like to appreciate art. These are the spaces that give culture to the people. There is a visit worth it.

It is a museum installed in a house half-square from the main square, with a very beautiful collection of paintings and sculptures.
