Jiache Village is one of the well-preserved stilted buildings in the Miao inhabited area of Guizhou. Because of the existence of the ancient stilted buildings in Jiache Village, it was selected into the "List of Traditional Chinese Villages" announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments in August 2013. When I came to Jiache Village, I was surrounded by 10,000 mu of terraced fields and the village was located on the mountainside. The quaint stone road in Jiache Village is built with scattered ancient buildings. The houses are all wooden structures, gray tiles, and occasionally some walls on the first floor. The complete wooden house is harmoniously blended with the terraced fields. , that is the breath of life in the village.
