My husband and I were greeted at the door and it opened as we walked down the street and they brought our coats to our table.We are Canadian so I didn&#39;t expect to let them know in advance that I didn&#39;t eat fish and seafood and we told them when we arrived. No problem. The chef made me special dishes that weren&rsquo;t on the menu. The wine pairing was the best I&rsquo;ve ever had. It&rsquo;s as if wine is a sauce for food not just a drink that compliments food. It&rsquo;s amazing. They&rsquo;re good! We have friends in Stockholm and we plan to visit them soon. I have organized a trip to Copenhagen and we can return to Koefoed. We were there in April 2015.

Come for lunch on a weekday with friends. The atmosphere is great, minimalist Nordic. Service is impeccable. The lunch selection is terrible as this is my first attempt to eat buttered rye bread, look, their lunch all has buttered rye bread options! I love everything I get and it&#39;s already full.
