Worth the experience.
Amazing history and artifacts on the Inca civilization. It gave me a better understanding of their origins. As well as Christianity. The art in here is spectacular.
The Incas origins of this monastery are an architectural marvel. The walls, rooms, stairs, the inner court and complemented by the cloisters in a grand setting overlooking the city.
We saw this twice, once alone and once with a guide, I'd say opt for the guide, you get a lot of extra information. Lots to learn about Inca construction and Culture, then the colonial religious overl...
I am glad we went, but after visiting the Cusco Cathedral, it seems a little under - whelming. You can't take photos of the tapestries, but photos are allowed in other parts.
