Great stop on our visit in Vietnam. Beautiful pagodas and intricately carved Buddhas. A must see in Da Nang. Reasonably priced but lots of hawkers at the bottom of the mountain so beware.

The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, just south of Da Nang city. All of the mountains feature cave entrances and numerous tunnels. Visitors can ascend to the summit of Mount Thuy. The location is popular with tourists due to the natural beauty of the landscape and the several Buddhist sanctuaries found here. The sanctuaries contain statues and relief depictions of religious scenes carved out of the marble.

So cool! If you like a good hike than this is a great little get away. We motorbikes out. Only a short 15 minute ride and easy to find. You can't miss them. Literally mountains coming out of nowhere. It was SUPER hot when we went so be sure to bring lots of water and take breaks often. We made it to the very top and there are several places for beautiful views looking over the ocean and towards DeNang. The entire mountain is a maze of beautiful pagodas, Buddhas, pathways and caves.
This is an amazing mountain with many caves and pagodas. Every cave has its own history. In Vietnamese war, they gave shelter to our soldiers.
