The Clan Sculpture Museum was built in 1915. The museum preserves the 7th-century Champo stone carvings and pottery carvings unearthed from Huangping Province to Pingding Province. There are nearly a thousand fine works of art. These complex carved sandstone artifacts are all cultural relics unearthed from various parts of Vietnam. It is worth a special trip to visit Da Nang. There is a restoration model of Meishan Champo in the pavilion. It is said that the shape of this museum is similar to that of the Cham Tower style, and the exterior wall is painted yellow, which makes it more conspicuous in the downtown area.
great exsmple of cham culture and shows the hindu links to angkor in danang
Small museum with good collections. Too bad it doesn't have airconditioning.
This museum houses the largest collection of Cham artefacts in the world. An ancient culture from the middle of Vietnam, the Cham people go back centuries. This is a well-curated museum and worth exploring for an hour or so. Right by the Dragon Bridge. Entrance fee is 60,000 dong.
Cham sculptures and ruins from all around the central Vietnam were brought and preserved here for all to see, an amazing collection of the Cham culture.
Small but informative
