About Daegu National Museum

The National Daegu Museum was built to preserve and display the cultural heritage of Daegu and Gyeonggido. It is a masonry building with a basement and two floors above ground. In the Ancient Exhibition Hall, historical artifacts from the Paleolithic Age to the Three Kingdoms period can be seen. In the Art Exhibition Hall, there are Buddhist sculptures, Buddhist statues, Buddhist handicrafts, etc. Here you can learn about the Buddhist culture in the northern part of Gyeonggido.
