享受生活的每一天The National Zoo of Malaysia is also a popular local attraction. I personally think that the area of the overall park is quite large. You can spend a whole day here. The animals here are super cute.

Bukit Batu Chondong’s similarity in topography to Bukit Tabur, its proximity to Kuala Lumpur city centre and its nearly unspoiled views make it an increasingly sought out destination amongst hikers.
Sections of the trail weave in and out of Hulu Gombak Forest Reserve placing it under the purview of the Selangor Forestry Department. This usually means a permit to enter is necessary.
Bukit Batu Chondong’s accessibility is another reason for its growing popularity. Depending on your fitness level, it takes between 20 to 40 minutes to get from the trailhead on Jalan Taman Zooview to the first of Bukit Batu Chondong’s 6 lookout points.
Distance-wise it’s a paltry 700 metres, but … it’s all uphill, some of it steep, with the final stretch requiring a little bit of rope work and a certain level of confidence. Don’t worry though, no death-defying rock climbing is required, regardless of what you’re seen or read.
Worthwhile family package which is much cheaper than over the counter. Go earlier so that it’s less hot. Bring hats and mini fan, sufficient water and some snacks. For children who dislike to walk too much it would be good to bring a stroller. It took us about 3 hours to finish the tour. We don’t get to watch animal show as it is temporarily closed. Most of the animals are sleeping or not moving around, perhaps due to hot weather, quite slim too except the hippos.
Very easy to use this application. But, I am not satisfied with the accomodation at Zoo Negara. No enough space for parking, not friendly environment for baby and etc. I hope the management team will provide the best accommodation for your customers.
Sofea Jane Waterfalls. You don’t have to go far to escape the concrete jungle. On the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, tucked behind Zoo Negara, Gombak Forest Reserve hides within it four waterfalls:
Jeram Kubang Gajah aka Sofea Jane Falls
Lata Syam or Sham
Lata Gitar aka Neelofa Falls
Set along Sungai Ampang, which eventually feeds into the Klang river, all are accessible to even the most amateur hiker.
Located just beyond Kampung Kemensah in Ulu Klang, the trailhead is set between the very end of the narrow village road and the ATV Adventure Park.
Plied regularly by ATV vehicles, the trail is bordered on one side by the road and farms at first before giving way to the jungle, and a multi-million dollar development on the other, which stretches all the way back to Ukay Perdana.
Zoo Negara is a fun and exciting place for animal lovers. It’s a must go place especially for families with young kids. I personally spent 4 hours here and it was a pleasant experience. Might be crowded with people in the afternoon though. The animals look more healthy and active this time around. There’s a good collection of animals in the zoo. Keep an eye out for the animal shows. Those are my favorite! 😍

Malaysians have plenty of pastimes, but what we love the most is a good adventure. And for those whose idea of an adventure includes nature and food, you’ll be glad to know that you can combine the two at BBQ Lamb KL Kemensah in Ampang.
Located in the hills of Kampung Kemensah, this restaurant offers diners a one-of-a-kind dining experience outdoors. And we’re not talking about street food-style dining – you can soak your feet in a cool river while dining on Western-style grilled meats and Canadian lobsters here.
Founded by a nature-loving couple who wanted to encourage locals to get out into nature more, BBQ Lamb KL Kemensah has rustic dining tables and chairs set in a river for a back-to-nature experience in the city.
