Ma-Shyrra DurdenI wasn't expecting to have to pay so much to enter the museum, but I guess they need funds to keep the doors open. There is an exhibit sponsored by Spark right when you walk it that is really cool and interactive. Since I'm visiting New Zealand I wanted to find out the history of how it came to be, and the museum broke down the treaty between the natives and the colonist, and pointed out where the land grab by the colonist was against the law. It went into some of the other wars and how the natives were excluded from them. It's got Natural history, and even an exhibit to the Chinese, how they came to be here and what their life is like culturally and how they fit into present day New Zealand.

yangduoduo17The hop-on hop-off bus to visit Waiheke Island is the best, very reliable and punctual! This small island is amazing, I recommend everyone to go to the Batch Winery first, where you can see the most beautiful scenery. You can have some snacks at every place you visit, which will make your day so special. This place is perfect for relaxing a day and enjoying with your partner.
_We***98This is one of my most beautiful walks in Auckland. There are a variety of things to see like the museum, gardens, ponds and ducks. It is peaceful, quiet and very clean. Truly enjoyed my afternoon walk in the Domain.

Kelly Tarlton's Sea Life Aquarium is a public aquarium in Auckland, New Zealand, that was opened in 1985. Located at 23 Tamaki Drive, it was the brainchild of New Zealand marine archaeologist and diver Kelly Tarlton. The aquarium opened in 1985 after 10 months of construction. Tarlton developed a new method of building an acrylic tunnel by taking large sheets of clear acrylic, cutting them to size and heating them in an oven until they took the shape of the mould. Some of the sheets weighed over one tonne.Because of the refraction caused by light travelling through water, and the acrylic sheets used in the creation of the tunnel, the fish appear to be one third smaller than they are
Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Wintergardens. Near Downtown, Mission Bay Beach has a seaside promenade. ― Google
Wow! We visited @breadandbutter.nz for the first time and it was divine! Located in the heart of Grey Lynn, Auckland. I love their industrial designed cafe, so elegant with a fantastic atmosphere.
I got their Hola Chicken which is a crispy buttermilk fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly crumbed and juicy served with herbed polenta, smashed avocado and salad. So good!
We also got their Braised Brisket which was served as a burger and covered in a mustard sauce, provolone cheese and pear chutney. This was absolutely moreish! The brisket was served generously and it was moist and falls apart tenderly. Such a flavourful dish and so worth it!
Highly recommend @breadandbutter.nz for a meal or even a great venue for a coffee date!
