fz570628:“The trip to the Rocky Mountains in eastern and western Canada has been completed. The lakes and mountains in the Rocky Mountains are so beautiful that people can't help but linger.
I want to start with the "lakes", but it always takes "lakes and mountains" to show its overall momentum and beauty.
The first article is Bow Falls, which became famous because the American movie star Monroe's movie "The River Flows East" was filmed here. Although it is far inferior to Niagara Falls, it is the first stop in the Rocky Mountains.”
Tajwixbaj183cm:“Banff is truly breathtaking, resembling a scene from "Frozen." Every little shop here has its own unique charm, and I wish I had more than half an hour to explore. Next time, I’ll definitely stay overnight to fully enjoy each store. The surrounding scenery is also incredibly pleasant, with stunning mountains and lakes that refresh the soul. I highly recommend everyone to take a stroll around Banff; I guarantee you’ll fall in love with the atmosphere here!”

新-云:“It is a swimming pool-style hot spring located on Sulphur Mountain near the town of Banff in Alberta, Canada. You can enjoy the fun of hot springs surrounded by mountains and overlook Mount Lundal from here. Enjoy it.”
西溪老翁:“Sulphur Mountain is a mountain located near the town of Banff in Alberta, Canada, with an altitude of about 2,450 meters. Climbing to the top of Sulphur Mountain, you can overlook Banff Town, the Bow River, the Banff Springs Hotel at the foot of the mountain, Lake Minnewanka, and the Canadian Rockies. Sulphur Mountain is named after the sulfur hot springs found on its slopes. You can choose to climb Sulphur Mountain by cable car (Banff Gondola) or hiking trails. It takes a long time to hike up the rugged and winding trails. It usually takes about an hour to reach the top of the mountain. Therefore, tourists usually choose to take the cable car to the mountain, and you can enjoy the scenery at different heights as the cable car gradually rises. The mountain cable car station is located about three kilometers south of Banff Town. There is a bus from Banff Town to here. The cable car has an elevation difference of about 680 meters. It takes about 8 minutes to climb to the top of the mountain with an elevation of 2,250 meters. Sulphur Mountain is the best place to overlook the town of Banff. There is a four-story building (Upper Terminal) on the top of the mountain. Each floor has different functions, including a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and Canada's highest restaurant. The fourth floor is an open-air observation deck with a better view. Going up along the trail on the top of the mountain, you can reach a meteorological observatory built in 1903. The building still exists and visitors can see its interior through the windows.”
cparissh:“It's just a platform without any special features. You have to climb more than a dozen steps to get to the platform. You can see the castle hotel in the distance, as well as the forest and snow-capped mountains in the distance. It feels just average. You can see the same scenery if you are not in this store.”
Tajwixbaj183cm:“I arrived at Minnewanka Lake just after the sun had risen. The soft sunlight made everything beautiful, and the lake appeared exceptionally blue, like a gem, almost like tears. From different angles, the lake offers various feelings, but one thing is certain: you won't regret visiting here. The scenery is breathtaking and allows you to feel the power and beauty of nature. It's truly a place worth visiting!”
cparissh:“Jack Lake is very big and a bit far from the center. We went there in the afternoon. The wind was very strong and it felt very cold. There were not many parking spaces there, but there were not many tourists either. It felt relatively unpopulated.”
西溪老翁:“Johnston Canyon is one of the four major canyons in the Canadian Rockies. It is located on the Bow Valley Parkway, which connects the town of Banff with Lake Louise. It was formed by thousands of years of river erosion. There is a clear and rapid stream flowing in the canyon beside the plank road. After walking along the relatively gentle trail for more than 30 minutes (about 2 kilometers), we arrived at the Lower Falls. You can take photos on the viewing platform or walk across the small bridge and go into the cave to observe the waterfall up close. The Lower Falls is actually very small and the scenery is average.
Although the Upper Falls is larger, it takes more than 5 kilometers to go back and forth. I didn't go up because I didn't want to be too tired and didn't have enough time.
There are tourist cabins and a large parking lot at the entrance of the canyon, which is very convenient for driving.
No additional tickets are charged.”
行走地球的猫:“The Maple Leaf is located on Banff Avenue. It has 4 stars on Yelp. It is an authentic Canadian-style restaurant. The decoration is not luxurious, but it is very comfortable and cozy. The dishes are also North American style. The ingredients are genuine and good. Good ingredients do not need too much seasoning. You can taste the taste of the food itself. The service is friendly and professional.
I especially recommend the selected premium Alberta cowboy steak, which has even fat and firm meat fibers. It is a must-try. The quality of the red wine in the store is also very good. The California Sonoma Zinfandel is perfect with steak.”
M25***40:“Reservations are recommended as this restaurant is always packed. The downstairs is more like a bar atmosphere (dimly lit, sports on TV) and upstairs is more like a restaurant (brighter, no TV). You can take the stairs or the elevator to the second floor. We will definitely be back.”
圣热尔韦昂瓦列尔周勃:“Beaver Tails is a famous chain store, and there is one in Banff. It feels like the fried pancakes in Beijing, with various sweet ingredients added. The pancakes are very thin, like semi-fermented dough.”
好棒哒:“The restaurant is not big. We wanted to have lunch but the lunch menu was not available until 12 o'clock, so we could only order a small portion of steak and bread slices for breakfast. The taste was good, the service was quite enthusiastic, and many restaurants around looked good.”
M25***40:“The service was impeccable (thank you Matt). The food was served promptly, neatly presented and everything was delicious. The seafood was perfect, the olives were perfect, the salads were perfect, the desserts were perfect. Go and enjoy your dinner, it's really worth it.”
M25***40:“We were not disappointed. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and helped us order. We shared a crab cake appetizer (crab meat, not bread crumbs like other places) and then we each had a filet mignon.”
