Jonathan GoddardThis wonderful and well-laid-out zoo offers a chance to see unique Australian wildlife that you rarely get the opportunity to spot in normal life. There’s a duckbilled platypus, wombats, Tasmanian devils and koalas, as well as the more easily spotted kangaroos and emus. It was great to get up close to animals like the platypus and wombats.

GLS***44Displays and exhibitions are detailed and realistic, many of which are interactive. The Museum is ideal for both the curious child and learned adult, making it perfect for day out for the family. Don't miss seasonal exhibitions (the most recent one being Jurassic World which was very impressive). Be prepared to spend at least 2 to 3 hours to fully enjoy what the museum has to offer. They also have a cafe and souvenir shop.Tip: It gets really busy (sometimes chaotic!) during the school holidays so try a weekday morning during off-peak seasons for a more relaxed experience.
