The remains of the kingdoms of seven different cities in Italy joined the World Heritage List, which is the royal and religious sites of the Kingdom of Lombardy (568-774 AD). The Lombardy Kingdom is a feudal kingdom founded by Lombards in northern Italy. The territory generally includes Lombardy, Venecia, Liguria and most of Tuscany in Italy. The Lombard was a member of the Germanic nation. In 568, it entered Italy under the Byzantine Empire and built the capital in Pavia, and later reached Central Italy. In the year 600 or so, under the guidance of Pope Gregory, Christianity was gradually established and a Lombard culture was gradually formed in Italy. It was not until 774 AD that Charlie the Great conquered Lombard and merged it into the Frankish kingdom before dying.
