Island/Peninsula
DeemaestiqueSamal Island is an island located near Davao City. It can easily be accessed through boarding a bus or a small boat. There are some resorts there where you can pre-arrange your boat ride for a hassle free vacation and for a very affordable price. The beach are white sand with multiple selections of affordable resorts to high end resorts. I personally love the Pearl Farm, Club Samal and Hof Gorei.

Forest
DeemaestiqueEden Nature Park is an excellent park for family vacation or an escape away from city life. It is just minutes away from the city center but will give you that mountain vibe with cool and fresh breeze. There are a lot of activities like trekking, fishing, sight seeing, sky cycling, and many more.

Volcano
M49***70Mount Apo is located about 30 kilometers southwest of Davao City, at an altitude of 2,954 meters, and is the highest peak in the Philippines. Mount Apo is an active volcano, but it has not erupted for nearly a hundred years, and it is surrounded by tropical hardwood forests. Now the main peak of Mount Awa and the surrounding area have been opened up as Mount Awa National Park, with waterfalls and hot springs, and it has become a famous tourist attraction.

Zoo
DanaWent to this place with my man! It's a great place to see Crocodiles because they allow visitors to get close to the Crocodiles. Not really that close, but the Crocodiles are placed in fences that allows people to see them clearly. The attraction is also well-maintained where statues and the whole place are freshly painted. If you want your kids to see live Crocodiles, this is the absolute place to be!
