After endless hectic shifts at Heathrow, I desperately needed to swap airplane cabins for something a bit more... wooden. And oh my god, I found the absolute perfect spot! 😭👇 I booked this gorgeous hidden treehouse in San Sai, and honestly, the moment I took my shoes off and stepped onto that warm wood, all my work stress just evaporated. My room had its own private terrace opening right into the canopy. Total bliss. You lot know I can’t resist a bit of history, so being only 15 minutes away from the East Gate in the Old City was a massive win! Best of both worlds. But let's talk about the pool hidden in the trees. The aesthetics are 10/10. I spent ages trying to look like a chic travel influencer (spoiler: I tripped over a branch, but we got the photo! 💁♀️). Two quick survival tips for my fellow Brits: 1. Bring the strongest bug spray you can find. The local mozzies saw me as a walking buffet. 🦟 2. Sunscreen! The Thai sun does not play, especially on my pale London skin. Having breakfast delivered straight to my tree and falling asleep to the rustle of leaves was just magical. 100% recommend if you need to escape reality for a bit! ✈️💖
