The Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture is located in southern Yunnan. The prefecture is bordered by Kunming on the north and Vietnam on the south. The prefecture is bisected by the Tropic of Cancer and is endowed with beautiful south Asian tropical scenery and colorful local folk flavor and culture, as well as famous historical sites set amidst the unique scenery.
