Ays1979Magnificent! Seeing those 100's of kisses chocolate-like hills is extra-ordinary! Truly a wonder of nature. I could just stare at them whole day, day-dreaming... What if they were really chocolate? Dang! Sugar rush!!! Hahahahhaha
EnjoyTripThe beach is so clear and clean, that you can also swim with small fishes. The island is just small that you can just walk around it. Though you really need to rent a boat going there from bantayan island but it will just take 15 to 20 mins ride. You have to be in your swimwear when you get off the boat since there is no docking area, so you have to be ready for your legs to get wet. You cannot bring food in the island because there is a corkage so you have to eat first in the boat.
yangduoduo17The sand on the beach is very white and fine, and a family of three have fun, but the beach lacks personnel management. There are leaves, seaweed, etc. There is a restaurant on the beach where the dishes are good and the ingredients are fresh, the price is reasonable, and the price is absolutely cheap Later, we ate here at noon and night for a few days. There are two people selling coconut juice on the beach, one is the older grandfather, and the other is the young man. The young man sells it with a little decoration, and the old man sells the original point. The service attitude is very good and trustworthy. There is a school church around the beach. Two hundred meters ahead of the beach facade, there will be a roast chicken shop that is delicious, 185P, and it looks squishy.
Panglao Island Driving: Suitable, Running: Not Recommended, Cycling: Suitable
If you're planning a vacation in Bohol, Philippines, make sure to drop by at Panglao. It's actually a 30 mins. drive from Tagbilaran, City.
Revisiting my travel escapades made me miss traveling even more. I miss running barefoot on the shore and feeling the fine sand. The smell of the fresh ocean breeze and the sound of the waves splashing.
I really wish to travel very soon. I would love to go back to Siargao and explore the beauty of the island with all the coconut trees around me.
Anyways, that's it for now and hoping to really travel soon. How about you? Where would you love to go if restrictions on borders will be lifted?
Mag-Aso Falls is an enchanting waterfalls in Negros Occidental famous of its turquoise or bluish water that makes its basin very attractive that lures visitors for a swim. Aside from the falls, there is also a man-made swimming pool fed by the free-flowing spring water that makes it very refreshing. Cottages are also available for day trip and rooms for overnight stay. Bring your group friends here and have a good time. The rates could possibly change but as of writing this, its Php 50 for the entrance, Php 200 for Nipa Hut, Php 1000 for the room.
This is a nice little place to get Vietnamese food in Tagbilaran City. It is just a few steps from the seaport so it should not be difficult to find. The pho is good. Light, subtle flavored broth with rice noodles and slices of beef, topped with fresh herbs. The spring rolls are also good. With a little bit more work on the presentation, this should be a great place to have real Vietnamese food. The coffee here is also one of the best we've had.
A taste of real vietnamese food! The only one there is in Tagbilaran and in Bohol! I would love to dine in here again with their specialty dish!
Nice service and delicious meals. Waiter will show the photos to help us to order the meals. They can recommend what kinds of food and describe it. The seafood peanut soup is special, and chicken omelette also awesome! The desert Halo is also good, and it enough for our four girls to share 1 set (waiter recommended 1 set for 2 persons, but we’re full.)
Gerarda's place has never disappointed us with a very warm staff. The food🍛🍲🍚🍜🍤 was great and we really enjoyed the food. The services was good and prompt and we didn't wait long for the food to come. 😍😍
If you feel like eating excellent dishes here in Bohol, Gerarda's Place is the place to be.
There are many beautiful beaches in Bohol, Philippines. You have probably heard about Alona Beach in Tawala. And probably the White Beach in Bolod. More popularly referred to as Dumaluan Beach by locals. Yet, there are others in Panglao that are lesser known beaches such as Bagobo, Danao, Doljo, and Momo.
had the privilege of enjoying Doljo Beach when I did a team building program for Alien Atlas in 2014. The event was held at Bellevue Resort in Doljo, Panglao, Bohol, Philippines. Right by Doljo Beach. My colleague Clint Edward Fuentes took many stunning images of Doljo Beach with my iPhone and we are glad to share them with you in this post.
Panglao is an island in the north Bohol Sea, located in the Central Visayas region of the Visayas island group, in the south-central Philippines.
One of two municipalities that make up Panglao Island, Bohol. Panglao is a famous tourist destination for its white sand beaches and world-class diving sites. Panglao is very accessible to other natural wonders of Bohol such as the Chocolate Hills, the countless springs, rivers, falls and caves and the ever cute tarsier, the smallest primate in the world.
Bohol’s underwater sanctuary doesn’t get enough praise as it should. Just off the coast of Panglao Island, you can travel by boat to Balicasag Island where you can experience incredible ocean adventures – from dolphin watching to snorkeling with thousands of sea creatures at a nearby marine sanctuary. For additional thrill, you can also rent out some scuba gear and dive deeper into the unknown with a divemaster!
Balicasag reef is wonderful place for snorkeling, one of the best I have seen.On Pamilacan you can take a boat to Balicasag it's not expensive if you are a group of people we were 7 people and pay 610php per person.
