Nice is a famous tourist city in France, most of the reasons I think are the sun and the sea. During the annual vacation, many French people choose to come to South France to enjoy photosynthesis. It is a sanctuary for retirement in France, so many wealthy people choose Nice after retirement.
Travel to Nice from May to June and September to October is the best. Nice is surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing the sea on one side, and has a coastline of 7,500 meters long. Warm in winter and cool in summer are the main climatic characteristics of Nice, and the sea-side terrain makes Nice sunny and sunny throughout the year. Usually May, June and September and October are the best seasons.
Grit and grandeur coexist seamlessly in Marseille, an exuberantly multicultural port city with a pedigree stretching back to classical Greece and a fair claim to the mantle of France's second city. Once seen as somewhat dirty and dangerous, and lacking the glamour of Cannes or St-Tropez, this black sheep of the Provençal coastline has blossomed in cultural confidence since its 2013 stint as the European Capital of Culture. The addition of a brace of swanky new museums is just the outward sign of an optimism and self-belief that's almost palpable.
Marseille's heart is the vibrant Vieux Port (old port), mast-to-mast with yachts and pleasure boats. Just uphill is the ancient Le Panier neighbourhood, the oldest section of the city. Also worth an explore is the République quarter, with its stylish boutiques and Haussmannian buildings, and the Joliette area, centred on Marseille’s totemic Cathédrale de Marseille Notre Dame de la Major.

Visiting the lavender fields of southern France was a long-time dream of mine, until it finally became reality last summer! The lavender fields bloom in late June to July, and you can best find the in the Plateau de Valensole, which is the “lavender hotspot” of southern France. You might think that the best thing about them is the appearance of purple fields that seem endless, but my highlight was the scent of lavender everywhere in the air. All in all, it is a dream destination that I hope everyone gets to visit at some point in their lives, and if you do, you can find this specific spot by searching for “Arbre coucher de soleil” in your maps. #lavenderfields #southoffrance #france

The town of Menton is among the most colorful along the French Riviera. There is not a color that you will not find when roaming around the streets of the town. But the streets are only part of the Charme, the real attraction, and what most people come here for, is the beach! It is dotted with palm trees, nice cafes you can lounge in by the waterfront, and of course plenty of sun beds so you can relax. We opted to explore the town in the morning, and cool off by the beach in the afternoon, then watch the sunset as it sets behind the houses. #menton #france #frenchriviera
