It is said that the hills next to the square are one of the best perspectives to see the sunset and the panoramic view of Rome. Don't miss it if you have physical strength and time.
TodemmyWhen we visited this place is early June and the only colors appear in meadow is green grass and yellow flower. It wasn''t colorful as the picture shown in TA. Maybe July is better time to see the peak of blooming flowers with many colors. However, this plain is surrounded by mountains and hills and field of lentils. We only stop for brief since it doesn''t live up our expectation. If come at the right time, this place is very beautiful.
Marius17I visited Colosseum which is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world today, despite its age. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian. I like the weight of history around it.
