罗罗罗A great place to hike up the Curi Cancha Reserve! This is a great place, I would recommend a guide as no one will introduce you just to see and understand, our family is in a small group with a family of 4 from the Netherlands, the people are very welcoming, But the children just look at things not listen to other people's introduction. This trip is very unfortunate, it has a light rain, the suspension bridge is the special place of this tropical rain forest, N many long short short suspension bridges connecting the rain forest peaks, walking on the swaying suspension bridge to look down the valley unfathomable, The valley bottom has a crisscrossed stream. After a little more than three hours of wandering in the rainforest finally came out, the rainforest lush plant species, many are the first time to see, the guide walks and explains those strange plants, let us open our eyes. PS: We recommend taking raincoats and mosquito bite medications, and water is a hike that requires physical strength!

Golfito beach is gorgeous, like many beaches in Costa Rica, inside Golfo Dulce (Sweet Gulf). Golfito town is located very near Golfito National Wildlife Refuge you can go hiking for the day, and next by the Marina ⛵️. Howe
I won’t suggest you to try scuba diving 🤿 in this area, there are lots of fishermen and boats around that you can’t fully enjoy the experience. Unless you are told you can do it near wildlife reserve.
Sailing ⛵️ in this area is great, you can ask the local fishermen to move you to another beach 🏝 where you will be alone to enjoy nature and your day. Traveling from Golfito and Puntarenitas (small island in front of Golfito) was one of my favorite places during a summer I spend every weekend in the area.
🔴 This area is always better to visit in summer, during rainy season there can be floods, or problems among the roads.

Monteverde is worldly known for its amazing cloud forest and biological reserves. Located 3 hours from San Jose, this small town is one of the best locations to visit for ecotourism. Perfect for outdoor activities, bird watching, hiking, sightseeing, and some indoor museums/gardens also focused to promote conservation.
Now, imagine crossing over those gorgeous cloud forests in zip lines. Coming to Costa Rica, or visiting Monteverde without experiencing a canopy tour is a waste. This is an amazing family experience! Should I say, this moment I shared with my sister and my mom was definitely one of the best in life.
This particular canopy takes about 2:30 hours, some zip lines are short, one is very long (and scary high!), and changes your life (adrenaline rush). Specially, the Tarzan swing at the end.

The monoliths of Finca 6 in Diquis, Costa Rica are one of the biggest archaeological mysteries, due to their perfect symmetry and roundness. Since mid 1900’s, over 300 spheres have been found. Not only in Diquis Delta, but in the Isla del Caño (20 km offshore!).
Most of them are made from gabbro, few of them from limestone and sandstone. Their origin is suggested between 200 BC-1500 AD. Finca 6 site dates from 300-1550 AD. Finca 6 is a World Heritage Site, allowing tourists from all over the world to come and appreciate this amazing (and extremely heavy, over 15 tons!!) spheres. Imagine, the rocks used to crear this spheres are located over 30 miles away from the site. They moved such heavy rocks from a long distance to create this perfect spheres.
Why? That’s still a mystery. Power? Maybe. Some say that, by placing your hands over the spheres, you can feel certain energy (warm) flowing to your body from the spheres.
Remember, if you visit the South Zone of Costa Rica, give yourself a detour from the beach and visit the amazing Finca 6!!

No trip to Costa Rica is complete without a visit to Manuel Antonio! Make your way to the national park and then to the ocean where you will be met with great views and warm water. The wildlife is plentiful and you might see a sloth!
