By looking at the pics, just got me drooling again.
In Fact, the food are fantastic and we can have unlimited servicing.
Staff are very polite and their service is fast considering the lack the of staff (3 staffs) they might be experiencing.
This is definitely one of the better breakfast that we have.
I do recommend you to include breakfast if you would like to make a reservation at The Fullerton Hotel
The only downside is that due to Covid restrictions, we have to split our table (which is out of their control) but the staff are very nice to assigned close to each other.
Second visit to the Southern Ridges ending at Hort Park, very near to the Kent Ridge Canopy Walk. Starting at Vivo City at 9am after a good breakfast at McDonald's, we took Exit D from the MRT station and went up a fairly steep incline using a number of stairs to reach the cable car station and then Henderson Waves to reach Hort Park at Alexandra in about 45 minutes.
This time we explored the gardens taking the spiral stairs from the Visitors Centre and were delighted to find a number of secluded and sculptured gardens like the Silver Garden and Golden Garden, the first named for the silvery trees and foliage and the other for the yellow hues of leaves and shrubbery. A beautifully symmetrical English Garden complete with Victorian statues and white trellis emerged while the Balinese garden was smaller and not so well developed. The Therapeutic Garden was very restful, sitting on the wooden bench in the breeze was euphoric. So much loving care has been bestowed on landscaping and maintaining these different plots, so charming in its its effects that I felt proud to be a Singaporean that we have such parks to wander in!
Didn't venture to the Kent Ridge Canopy Walk inviting though it was, next time probably.
Toilets are clean, thought full designed and maintained, you can refill your water bottle from at least two drinking fountains. There's a restaurant called The Vineyard which looked interesting but we headed for Alexandra Food Centre instead, hopping on bus 195,one stop away only but quite a distance, not walkable in the hot sun.!!!
This hike can be carried out in parts or as a whole, and so it varies from an hour to three, depending on individual hiking speed.
I like to start at the beginning which is a short hike up mount Fabre near vivo city. I think there are about 4 entrances. Check your gps for details as it is not easy to describe in words.
From here the hike will link to the Henderson wave which is an interestingly designed bridge which is in the form of a length of wave. From here, you will get a great view of the Telok Blangah area from a high point. I think you can get a great sunset view from here but I never come then so not sure.
Continuing you will come across metal decking which offers a “tree top walk”. This leads to another bridge which crosses over to the Hort Parl. Another great attraction dedicated to plants and planting.
Heading to the rear of the park, there is a short climb which leads to BUKIT Chandu war memorial which is inside Kent ridge park.
From Kent ridge park, you can hike to science park and then to Ayer rajah industrial estate and to the One North area which is essentially a business park where you can find some restaurants. Nearest MRT is One North.
This is about three hours of hiking through road, hills, pathways and parks.

This is one of the best hotel staycation we have experienced.
We booked this hotel for my birthday celebration, and being a Fan of M.O member, we have stayed in MO hotels all over the world, but this is our first stay in Singapore as the pandemic has halted all travel plans. We also decided to support the local tourism industry but booking a staycation at MO.
The hotel gave us a free upgrade to the room facing the Singapore Flyer and the views were stunning. We also had a partial view of the MBS. The hotel also granted early check-in and late check-out. Hotel staff at the front desk were friendly. My friend had also dropped off a cake even before we checked in, and this was held by the hotel and presented to us when we checked in, which was very much appreciated. Having indicated that we were celebrating my birthday, the hotel had also taken the time and effort to decorate our room with balloons and offered us a very sizable cake to celebrate the occasion. It is the little touches such as these which makes the experience that much more memorable.
The hotel amenities such as the gym and the pool were clean and well maintained. The gym was sanitized after every use, and the safe-distancing measures at the pool was also well managed.
Overall, such a great experience, I have never been disappointed with my stays at MO hotels and will definitely return.
Cloud Forest at Garden By The Bay is one of Singapore’s most impressive attractions! This magnificent greenhouse-like glass dome can be seen from miles.
Feature indoor waterfalls and a lust mountain clad with plants from around the asia.
Hint: Perfect time to go at 6.30pm onwards, go up to the cloud walk and see panaromic view of sunset and MBS!
My mother and I visited The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on December 25th 2019 as part of our Christmas time together. We enjoyed how clean the mall was even though it was relatively busy during the time of our visit. It was our second destination after visiting Sky Gardens and after spending some time under the warm Singapore sun, we were in need of some cool down time and a bite to eat. This made The Shoppes a great place to walk to because it was conveniently attached to a pathway going to the gardens.
My mother and I stopped for some refreshing teas at TWG then went around the mall. They have a wide variety of places to choose from and I can guarantee that there is something for everyone no matter the age or preference. If you are interested in designer brands then you won't go wrong because they have lots to choose from and the list includes stores like: Chanel, Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Dior, Balmain, Cartier, Dolce & Gabana, Fendi, Celine and Hermès.
It is a wonderful place to spend a whole day in and my mother and I definitely want to come back soon.!!!
The partially opened TEL is impressive with the shortened journey times to reach the northern Woodlands area. The font used for the signs at the station are large and the exits are numbered instead of using the alphabets. Furthermore it is now more accessible to visit various nature reserves and parks. I visited Springleaf Nature Park and Springleaf Park Connector by taking exit 1 at Springleaf Station. The Springleaf Park Connector leads to Lower Seletar Reservoir. The journey time is only 14 mins starting from Caldecott Station. Both exits 1 and 2 lead to the row of shophouses with many popular cafes and coffee shops. By taking exit 3, one can take the bus 138 to Upper Seletar Reservoir, Ulu Sembawang Park Connector and the Singapore Zoo.!!!
