juki235Hat Yai Ivory Waterfall is a very famous attraction in Hat Yai. The scale of the waterfall is not very large, but it is very beautiful. The water of the waterfall rushes down in the mountains and forests, and finally converges into a big pool, which becomes a natural swimming pool for everyone to play in the water. It is very good.
pxy0705Samila Beach in Songkhla is one of the most famous beaches here. The water on the beach is very clear, and there are large stretches of sandy beaches, and the sand is soft and white. There are many strange reefs and sculptures on the beach, adding a lot of artistic flavor to this beach.
M30***41Fantastic boat trip on the Songkhla LakeI think this boat trip really deserves a separate listing. Many of the reviews about “Songkhla Lake” are about the statue that is at the entrance of the estuary of the lake, not about the lake itself. The lake is fantastic but you have make a boat trip to really appreciate the beauty. We paid 500THB for an hour to our “captain”. The boats are simple. There is no cover to protect you from the sun and there are no life vests. We did two trips. We went on two trips, the first before sunrise and and the second around sunset. During daytime it will be too hot. Just make sure that the weather is a bit stable and predictable before you go. Otherwise it might be too dangerous.
Hat Yai Municipal Park is a large recreational park and tourist attraction located in the east of Hat Yai City, Thailand. Within the park itself, there are many points of interest. It’s the best place if you want some relaxing and peaceful moments. There’s a very nice view of the town from the hilltop. I really recommend this place to everyone and I personally will come here again. A must go place in your bucket list and I think it's quite a beautiful place for a religious spot.
This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Hat Yai. It has 7 levels in total. To me, the most beautiful level is the third one called Ton Nga Chang as the stream separates into two, resembling a pair of elephant's tusks. The different levels in the stream allow for semi-private picnic areas with some families with young children swimming in some of the deeper pools. There are fishes too and they’re very friendly. You can see them gather near you while you sit beside the water. The quiet nature of the place almost made it feel like we were the only ones here. Love it!
If you think of Hatyai, you would think of local tea place with Roti or pancake. However, I found one really good place with a nice concept ‘ Seek Nature ‘ cafe. It is a hidden gem with more quality than the price. The only bad point is that it is not a practical cafe for working. Only chilling for hours with your bestie would be great. Also, they serve Keto menu like Keto brownie and cake. good for your health !
Longing for the short holidays in Thailand.
