_We***90The coldest part of El Salvador. Awesome weather that you can enjoy with a hot chocolate you can camp there. There are some tours that take you there. Many restaurants around this place and the view is just something you can't miss. Only cars with double traction can reach the top of the mountain. Normally people reach it by walking and climbing the mountain.
_We***90This plaza is ubicated at the center of the capital. The main attraction is the statue that is there in honor of Gerardo Barrios president. It is a popular place to visit because it is surrounded by the National Palace and the metropolitan cathedral. Now is more safe to visit it
coo***anWe are not sure whether to go in, but we are very happy. There are two museums, one is the Pottery Museum (with examples dating back to 3000 years), and the other is the Museum of Nicaraguan Currency History. Both are very interesting. We were taken away by an English-speaking tour guide who must know what he was talking about. We can't believe how interesting the history of money is. We spent a total of 8 dollars to enter these two museums, which is very good value for money. Our guide was so nice, we gave us a $10 tip for four of us, and then stayed for coffee. If you are passing by and have an hour of free time, it is worth a visit.
coo***anWe are honored to invite a naval officer to show us around and explain all the exhibits. Throughout the visit, Lieutenant Gonzalez has been our guide. She knows the history of El Salvador and the history of the army very well. Everyone we met seemed very happy that we chose to visit, and everyone was proud of the museum there. If you are really interested in learning about the history of El Salvador, I strongly recommend that you use it as one of your stops.
