arrenxMount Mansfield is the highest peak in Vermont.
Because I only hiked up a mountain near the home of the host family in the morning, I took the cable car up in the afternoon.
After going up the mountain, I took pictures and bought souvenirs. The small bottle of maple syrup for $9.50 is very good, the packaging is nice and the taste is authentic.
By the way, I went five years ago.
133***26This is a virgin forest, surrounded by several lakes. The scenery is beautiful and very quiet. There is a charge for entering the park gate. Adults are four dollars per person and children are half price. If there are more people, you can charge per vehicle. You can hike or cycle after parking. Crossing the primeval forest, there should be wild animals. We only saw a deer and felt very surprised.
TodemmyWe took a drive through the Cleveland National Forest. There is a good diversity of scenery from chaparrel to pines. The towns are cute to visit. There is currently (March 2018) some road construction going on but there was minimal delays. There is nice hikes one can take as well. We visited in Spring time on a sunny warm day. As such, we had a delightful day.
133***26When we went, it was closed for rest, and no staff was found. Maybe it only opens in the snowy season. We walked around and saw the cable car going up the mountain. It’s good for skiing on the top of the mountain in winter. Live in an apartment house.
arrenxA waterfall in Vermont, it takes a long time to drive from Montpellier. The waterfall flows down from a high place and becomes a small stream, the water is very clear, the visibility is high, and there are fish in the water. A small lake was formed by the waterfall, with two cliffs, one high and one low, where young people dived. After the jump, the water was really too cold. It was summer. However, if you open your eyes in the water, you can clearly see the pebbles at the bottom of the water, sinking slowly with the impulse of jumping, and floating slowly with the buoyancy of the water. After swimming out quickly, you can sigh It ''s so cold, still great.
