Wuhai

Wuhai was formed from the combination of the original Wuda and Haibowan cities. Located in the southwest of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Wuhai is the third city to be administered directly under the autonomous region. Mountains surround the area, interspersed with the Gobi Desert, other desert land, and grassland, creating a unique landscape. In addition to the sights of the Yellow River and the desert, Wuhai also has many historical and cultural attractions, such as the remains of Han era (206 BCE - 220 CE) villages and the scenic Manbala Temple.
