Kimi_jmThe ancient city of Zadar, the hometown of the Magic Flute Modric, is now the most famous place is the sea organ. The artist built a special shape of stones on the beach. The impact of the beach can make a buzzing sound. Everyone sits in twos and threes. Listening to this sound by the sea, I really like Zadar, the leisurely seaside ancient city.
天生哥This medieval old city built on a hillside between Zadar and Split, facing the Adriatic Sea, the St. Donat’s Church, is the most outstanding symbol of the ancient city of Zadar. The ruins in front of the church are ancient The ruins of the Roman palace. Wandering on the quiet and peaceful island, picturesque!
Not sure why this hotel has so many negative reviews. We stayed in the deluxe room (118) and people moan it is too small. . . . We found it adequate and the bathroom was great with a little sauna and spa bath. The facilities are a little dated but clean and comfortable. The lady on reception was friendly and pleasant. Yes there was a bit of noise from the restaurant at breakfast but not so much that it kept us awake. Can't comment on the food as we didn't make it for breakfast. Comfortable and pleasant stay. Good city center 25 min walk but easy to get to
The #seaorgan is an architectural sound art object located in #zadar, #croatia and an experimental musical instrument, which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps.
Zadar to a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, cosmopolitan cafes and quality museums. #zadar old town has a lots of beautiful #gardens at every corner of the town.
One of the most intriguing things about #zadar in #croatia, there is the way Roman ruins seem to sprout randomly from the city's streets. Nowhere is this more evident than at the site of the ancient forum, constructed between the 1st century BC and the 3rd century AD. As in Roman times it's still the centre of civic and religious life.
