"Loboc Town (Loboc Town) may be the second largest town on Bohol Island after Tagbilaran, as is the Loboc San Pedro Church (Museo De Loboc) built in 1602 One of the oldest churches on the island. The earthquake collapsed in 2013. As famous as this church’s long history, there is also an interesting story about her. People decided to build a bridge over the Loboc River next to the church. They didn’t know this. The bridge was designed by a friend who was short-sighted. When the construction was halfway, the workers found that the bridge was facing the church. If it was built further, the church had to be demolished, so the construction had to be stopped."

"Nice church! However, it was partially destroyed by the recent Oct earthquake. Some of the church area is out of bounds for fear of weak structural damage. There are some heavy duty hard hards around for tourists. Understandably, they were issued to the tourists when the church re opened aft earthquake."

"Santo Nino is Cebu's patron saint. Every 3rd Sunday of January, Cebuanos celebrate the feast day. Most people from Cebu and other provinces participate in the fluvial parades and procession. The government hosted the conduct of Sinulog festival. The celebration is always full of fun with the street dancing, floats and all. But this 2021, no celebration was organized due to COVID. Instead devotees visit thw church, light the candles and pray."

"It feels ancient and magical to me. First of all, it is the oldest church in Asia, about 420 years old. It was the first stronghold of the Jesuit missionaries in Spain. The style of the church is Spanish, the exterior is vicissitudes of life, but the interior is gorgeous, especially the brilliance of the stained glass, which adds a lot of mysterious beauty to the church while being solemn and sacred. The building materials of the Baclayon Church are the same as those of the Spanish castle. It is made of coral stone and egg white. It is said that millions of eggs are used as a binder. said that the magic is because there are naturally formed bearded figures on the wall outside the church. Some people say it is Jesus, some people say it is a certain missionary. Our driver also pointed to another wall and said that it was the image of the Virgin holding the holy baby, but there was only an outline, which was not as shocking as the huge portrait. Visiting the church is free. There is a museum in the church for a fee. The museum houses many religious relics, including vestments made of gold thread, and Latin church music lyrics written on sheepskin. Baclayon Church is proud of its peculiar ceiling frescoes and intricately carved ancient confessionals. Choose a sunny time to enter. The ground will reflect the beautiful colored glass light and shadow, which is very charming."

"This is a church close to the pier after getting off the boat on Bohol Island. The pier itself is called Tagbilaran, but it takes more than 20 minutes to walk. If you take a triangular chicken cart from the pier to the church, it will arrive quickly. Most tourists do not Will stay here. The church is free. Although there are few tourists who go to it for free, the locals go to pray more."

"A very old and gorgeous church. The exterior was damaged by the Baohe earthquake, but the interior was great (the funeral was being held inside, so we didn’t take any photos), and the building looked unscathed. The outside is newly painted, and the inside is well painted. very quiet. There is a daily mass at 12 noon, except Sunday, because they have a different schedule on Sunday."

"[Phoebe, Cebu, Cebu Cathedral, Philippines] In the afternoon, I wandered among several historical relics that survived the Spanish colonial rule. Magellan, the great navigator, spread Catholicism here, and he himself also slept in Cebu. Fortunately, I saw a wedding in the church, solemn and lively, and the wonderful singing of the choir still lingered."

"Quite grand and lively. Don't think that the Holy Child is the one in the Cathedral of the Holy Child. A closer look at the scenic spots in Cebu will reveal the existence of the Holy Child. Including the top of the gate of Fort San Pedro. According to legend, the Church of the Holy Child was bombed during World War II, but the Holy Child was unscathed. Since then, local people have regarded the Holy Child as their guardian god. There are many shops and stalls in Cebu that sell the statues of the Holy Child. The red clothes represent "fortune", the green clothes represent "fortune fortune", and the yellow clothes represent "fortune for love"."
