One of Qatar's largest Mosques is the National Mosque. It has since been renamed the Great Muslim Theology. The mosque was designed in the Byzantine fashion and is crowned by a large dome. The dome has a unique feature in that it is adorend with a large amount of windows. The Mosque has a large hall that is supported by pillars. The pillars have Arabic motifs. There is a very good light, sound and AC units that are needed in this hot country. Another neat feature is that the wall has a very large working Quartz Clock that adds a modern touch to the building. The clock is always set to tell followers when it is time to worship. It does this everyday.
