Additional Information

Introduction

Huangdaxian Temple is located in the northwest of Qishi Town, Dongguan City, close to the Jinxiaoyi mountain ridge next to the Dongjiang River. It was built in the 12th year of the reign of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1873), and was first named Huangxianweng Temple. Huangdaxian Temple is a two-entry ancient building. It magnificently stands on the cliffs of the river bank, the place where Huang Runfu drowned himself in the river. Walking out of the ancient Huangdaxian Temple, you can ascend the Jinxiaoyi mountain from the granite path along the stone archway.
