Qiuyan Candlestick Rock, shaped like a candlestick, stands tall as if to pierce the sky. It is a famous local strange rock. It stands on the east coast together with more than a dozen nearby rocks of various shapes. They also have different names according to different shapes, such as Turtle Rock, Couple Rock and Brother Rock. When the sun rises in the early morning, the view of the sun hanging over Candlestick Rock is one of the most popular attractions in Korea. As the sun slowly rises on Candlestick Rock, people sing the national anthem together, and the scene is spectacular. Every year from December 31 to January 1, photographers from all over the country gather here to perform another spectacular show in order to capture the New Year's sunrise with Candlestick Rock as the background.
