Madinat Jumeirah

The best part is Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a market inside Madinat Jumeirah. It was a much more relaxed experience than Dubai Gold Souk.

The Castle Market is located on the edge of the Seven Star Sailing Hotel in Dubai. It runs along the hotel’s indoor pedestrian street and winding paths, and runs through the colourful and lively open market. The vivid trade culture is fascinating. When you walk along the street shops and private galleries, lined up along the sidewalk, you can immediately feel the old Dubai style, street restaurants and cafes. There is a scent of fragrance, which outlines a leisurely and harmonious picture of life. A canal passes through the market, and the boats move in and out, making people feel like they are in the medieval Arab castle. It feels as though the treasures of Persian myths may be hidden here. Most of them are souvenirs selling traditional customs, Arabic lanterns, Turkish porcelain plates, and beaded national style shoes, handmade blankets, silver and bronze utensils.

The ancient city of Jumeirah is located within the Jumeirah Resort, right next to the Sailing Hotel. It is very close to the sailing hotel and you can see it at the gate. The design of the ancient city of Jumeirah mimics the traditional open-air market and continues the wind tower design of the old town like a chimney at the top. The wind tower is a unique architectural element of Dubai and is actually the world's first air conditioner. The streets inside Jumeirahs ancient city collection are inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. The obvious old-fashioned closed-plan complex spatial layout with an internal courtyard is built in a dry and hot climate. It is also large, and the whole house is enclosed in a high wall. The advantage of this is that it can withstand the bad weather such as sand and sand, and can also block the spread of sun exposure and heat radiation, and effectively save energy. The wind tower also bears the role of lighting. When the layout of the space is closed, there is no external hole lighting except for the top wind tower. Of course, there are stores in the market in addition to grocery stores, as well as imitation of ancient vintage vending carts, adding a retro atmosphere. There are 75 boutiques and more than 20 popular coffee shops, bars and restaurants in the market.
