Photos of Bank of Ireland
The Bank of Ireland was founded in 1783 and is one of the four major commercial banks in Ireland. It was the world's first special bicameral parliamentary building designed by Edward Lovett Pearce in 1729, and its headquarters are located in the former seat of the Irish Parliament in CollegeGreen. The main building of the building is semi-circular, surrounded by an extended colonnade at the main entrance. Above the porch stands three statues representing Ireland, loyalty and precision, and commercial wealth. The royal shield is also carved above the entrance, and a new entrance on the east side is added on the basis of the original south side entrance.
