Croatia is a country located at the intersection of Central Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Balkans. It looks like a crescent moon on the map. Croatia has a long coastline, the longest among the Balkan countries, with beautiful scenery along the way; it has over 1185 islands, earning it the nickname 'Country of a Thousand Islands'. The most famous is Plitvice Lakes, where 16 natural lakes are connected, with a large amount of calcium carbonate limestone deposits in the lakes, presenting green, gray, blue, etc., forming an ultimate natural landscape.
☘️
Speaking of Croatia, one must first mention Dubrovnik, also known as 'King's Landing' in the famous 'Game of Thrones'. Even if you're not a fan of the show, it's more customary to call it King's Landing, as it seems to show the grandeur of this ancient city.

Dubrovnik - a Balkan Paradise
Dubrovnik is famous for being the location of Games of Thrones, but it's so much more than that. Dubrovnik Old Town is staggeringly beautiful with imposing towers, picturesque streets and a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea.
The tourist traffic can be overwhelming during the summertime. I went there last April and the crowds were manageable.
Food is expensive inside the Old Town (about 20euro per meal, ugh) but there are cheap eats when you venture out of the tourist hotspots.
Go visit!#dubrovnik
Getting There - you can join a cruise or fly into Dubrovnik. You can also travel overland from nearby countries (Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro)
Attractions - The lovely Stradun, Old City Walls and the resorts in Lapad
Hotels - accommodations are kinda pricey
Food & Restaurants - food is also expensive, but there are plenty of options. Have a gelato and pizza
Shopping - The souvenirs inside Okd Town are frightfully expensive
Hidden corners in Old Dubrovnik 🇭🇷
Dubrovnik is a pearl of the Adriatic Coastline and you will understand this term as soon as you visit it. The old town is surrounded by massive walls and the panoramic views are filled with typical orange rooftops. This city will have you walk endless stairs, but you will certainly come back for more – that’s how beautiful it is. During summer, the sunset created amazing golden light for your photo and you will be able to capture the beauty of Dubrovnik. #tripblazers #mytripvlog #beachlife #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #summervacation

[Traveling around Eastern Europe] Dubrovnik
two-kilometer wall for three hours, I am right in the wall control.
It feels more common to walk in the city, but finding a commanding height, such as a wall, a seaside fortress or a mountaintop, is completely another scene. The beauty of Junlin City needs to be seen from a height.
Traveling with American TV is also a good choice.

Hotel Dubrovnik Palace

The rooms offer stunning views right from the bed, especially during sunset. Some of the equipment is a bit dated, like the TV and the absence of an espresso machine in the room.
The food was good but not particularly creative, and the drinks were a bit overpriced. The coffee could definitely be improved. However, the service and personnel were excellent.
The hotel offers a unique 'beach' experience—more like terraces on cliffs with sunbeds and direct sea access, and the views are epic. Convenient transport to the Old City is available with a bus every 15 minutes.
The hotel has a really calm atmosphere, making it a great place for relaxation. While it ticks all the boxes for a 5-star experience, there was a sense that something was missing. Nonetheless, the room views are unparalleled and make up for the minor shortcomings. Highly recommend for its beautiful surroundings and overall good vibes.

Dubrovnik Palace Hotel Dubrovnik Palace is located on the Lapad Peninsula. The hotel has two restaurants, a restaurant that can be ordered at noon, and a cafeteria in the evening. This la carte restaurant has a noon menu at noon. Cheap, but dinner is quite expensive. Sitting outside can look directly at the invincible sunset seascape, the head is full of seagulls, as long as you are not there, they will come back to steal. There are many varieties of
dishes, and the service is also in place. In the evening, the buffet is more than 300 RMB. There are meat, vegetables, desserts, fruits, coffee and ice cream after the meal. It is free, but beer and other wines are calculated separately, which is more cost-effective than ordering.

How can there be such a beautiful town
Instantly full of relaxed holiday vibes

【Travel Tips】
Day1: Panoramic view from the mountain top➕Stroll through the old town
All the panoramic photos above are taken from the mountain top. You can either drive up the mountain or take the cable car from the old town to the top. Remember to go in the morning for the best lighting, just like in my pictures. In the afternoon, the light is against you and you won't get the same feeling. Spend the afternoon slowly wandering through the ancient city, where there are also many unique shops, and enjoy a happy afternoon browsing.
Day2: Walk along the city walls
Buy a ticket, climb the city walls, and you can see the entire old town. The ticket allows you to visit five spots. It's recommended to first visit the museum and other places, and save the city wall walk for last to stay until sunset, as this order is better.
—
【Accommodation Tips】
If you are driving, it's better to stay a bit further away, as you can't drive into the old town, and dragging suitcases is troublesome with many steps. Parking nearby is also very expensive. If you have less luggage, staying near the old town is more convenient.
—
Overall, staying in Dubrovnik for 2-3 days is quite suitable.
Driving is more convenient, but the speed of the cars here is very fast, which can be annoying and dangerous for new drivers

Dubrovnik is one of my favourite cities in Europe and this city has a special place in my heart for real. I really liked the ocean view and that incredible blue sea colour just made me feel delightful when I first saw it. Having the cable car on the top of the mountain in Dubrovnik is really convenient and you can see the gorgeous view over there. Moreover, taking the ferry to another island in Dubrovnik such as Lokrum island.

Croatia
Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia fronting the Adriatic Sea. It's known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. There is a old city wall divide the city into two parts. Old and New. The Old city was build in front of the ocean and the new part is on the other side of the old wall.
All of the buildings were build with the style of Tarra cottage with Red roof top.
You can walk along the main street with all the shopping, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and a old church.
You will also spot many tourist companies and counters in every corners to offer different day or even hourly tours away from the mainland. They will organise boat for the transportation to take you out to some beautiful islands and beaches.
If you are interested you can take a ride on cable car to go to the top of the mountain. You will enjoy a breath taking view of Dubrovnik from the top of the mountain.

Hvar day trip
Getting There - ferry: from Split to Hvar
Attractions - Fortica Fortress (Tvrđava Fortica)
Food & Restaurants - kava37 | Specialty Coffee Shop Hvar
I stayed in Spilt and took a day trip to Hvar. Some of the tourists would go island hopping to several islands near Split and Dubrovnik. You can get the ferry ticket at the harbour. The return ticket is 240 KN (one way is 120 KN).
The coffee shop is truly amazing that I recommend anyone who loves specialty coffee should’ve try it!
Hvar - Off the Beaten Path
Hvar is a well know Croatian Island right off the coast of Split. It has been inhabited for thousands of years, with its old city ‘Stari Grad’ celebrating its 2400 birthday as a town.
🏔Maybe people will flock to the party town of Hvar and sit at the hotels in front of a pool, but if you take the extra effort you could find some magical views. The little abandoned village of Malo Grablje sits on top of the Hvar mountain and has some gorgeous views of the north and south side of the island. I would recommend getting electric bikes if you are a beginner and cycle to the top.
🌿 Hvar is also known as the lavender island with fields planted on the mountains of Hvar. The resemble Thai mountain fields but with lava Dee. some of them are deserted and have turned into forest which makes it even for enchanting.
All in all, you can’t go wrong with a bike ride around the island and especially on the mountain tops. Highly recommend for any nature lovers. 😁😁

Secret Fairytale Village: Vrboska
The island of Hvar in Croatia. Many people have heard of it and most people end up in Stari Grad or Hvar town when visiting the island. But off the beaten path, lies a charming fishing village popular with yachts and off road bikers
🐠 Fresh Food - The sea food restaurants are a must sea. Places like Trica Gardelin, Luka’s Konoba, Mediterranean, Vrboscam, and Bonaca use freshly caught fish caught in the morning. they prepare it in the local style and you can definitely taste the freshness. If you wake up early enough you can also buy fish off the boats yourself.
🚴♂️bike trails and running trails along the coast cut through vineyards for an amazing experience. bike and boat rentals are possible through B&B rentals service company
🏖Soline beach is a must see and very child friendly. For a more romantic getaway try one of the many secluded coves along the coast. Zecevo island is a 20 minute boat ride away, with a restaurant. The water there is crystal clear and not a lot of people know about it. Food and drinks can be ordered.
In Conclusion: Great place to visit for a couple of days as there are many out door activities to check out. Hidden from the crowds of tourists a great place to enjoy nature. Apartments can be rented out or the 4 star ⭐️ Senses Resort.
