Fort Bokar

Ancient Settlement
Address: Od Puća 20, Dubrovnik, Croatia

What people are saying:

Bokar Fort is the first fort that I saw after climbing the city wall from the gate of Pele. It is located at the southwest end of the Dub city wall. It forms a corner with the Lovrijenac Fort on the opposite side and guards the narrow bay together. It's just that the platform cannot go up, and tourists can only move around within the city wall. 【view】

    Game

We like this fort because it’s part of game of thrones series. Waking in you can see some other part of city walls.

    Great Spot!

This was one of the many locations where they shot some of the Game of Thrones sequences. The place is so beautiful and peaceful, with kayak rentals down below.

The engineering of the wall's stonework immediately caught my eye

The stone wall of Fort Bokar is enormous & gives some sort of scale to the overall engineering & construction of Dubrovnik. Not a standout attraction in it own right - it suffers from all its imposin...
