The Church of St. Saviour is another relic of the Renaissance. It was built in 1520 and was the first church to be seen after entering Pele Gate. The front door and the three-leaf semi-circle roof are decorated with Renaissance elements. They survived the 1667 earthquake and are the most intact Renaissance-style building so far.
